The Adelaide Kids Film Festival (AKFF) is an annual film festival ‘for kids by kids’. The festival recognises the need to support mentorship and guidance along side a showcasing platform. AKFF nurtures, fosters and encourages all young people to make and view films.

AKFF is dedicated to increasing access and participation for Deaf and hard of hearing young people in South Australia at AKFF screenings and events.

AKFF would like to increase opportunities for Deaf and hard of hearing youths to benefit from wonderful experiences, either by creating their own films or viewing films by others.  This is an amazing opportunity for young Deaf and hard of hearing people to learn and showcase their films across the globe!

AKFF are committed to incorporate Auslan and captioning to screenings and activities to develop and increase young audience participation.

AKFF is a fantastic opportunity to explore your creativity and imagination in a supportive and inclusive environment!
